ABOUT US

Project Blackseed was started by a Muslim youth based in Melbourne and Sydney. It began with the intention to do one campaign to raise a million dollars for Sudan, Sudan was chosen because there was and still is a lack of discourse for one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

After some thought, the impact that we could have as a community would be much greater if we could continue this each year. With this, the team expanded to 10 project leads and over 50 volunteers.
